Short Term Missions Opportunity
A Short Term Mission is an opportunity to serve on a team for approximately 2-3 weeks in a foreign context. Short Term Missions include sharing the gospel, building/establishing churches, encouraging national pastors and workers, participating in child and youth programs, feeding the hungry, and helping the orphans.
We are excited to announce that this trip will be conducted in partnership with Coquitlam Alliance Church (CA Church). All materials specific to this trip are owned by CA Church, and they reserve the right to make any necessary changes.
Copper Canyon, Mexico -
Guacayvo Boarding School/Orphanage
August 14 - 30, 2020
On this Short Term Mission, you will experience life within a different, and relatively primitive, culture at the Guacayvo Boarding School/Orphanage. This Mission will involve ministering to families and children, serving the poor, participating in church ministry, and assisting in a variety of physically demanding projects.
Guacayvo is located within the Sierra Mountains of the Copper Canyon so be prepared for some potential hiking.
This is a level 4 mission, meaning it is an advanced level experience in a foreign context with a high degree of cultural and language differences.
