A personal message from Susan Johnson, Women's Ministry Committee Leader...
"Faithful! That’s my significant word for this year. Not my own faithfulness, which is weak and wavering, but God’s faithfulness that is always true. He is constant and unchanging. We can trust Him with every aspect of our lives. As we look ahead to this year in Women’s Ministry, we are excited to trust Him, anticipating watching God work in women’s lives. I am humbled by the opportunity to serve alongside such an amazing and gifted team including Raelene Dueck, Aimee Pastoor, Krista Throness, Michele Sinclair, and Teri Fichtner. Together we are eager to serve the women of KAC and our community beginning with the winter Bible Study, “Rhythms of Renewal” starting January 16th and running for six weeks. These rhythms of rest, restoration, connection and creativity, tie in closely with what we will hear in the weekend services over the next few months. We will be also offering two more Saturday morning breakfasts (Waffles, Worship and the Word) on March 14 and May 23. On the weekend of May 1st and 2nd we will be having a ‘staycation’ type of retreat here at KAC, many more details to follow – be sure to mark your calendars.
