Alive in the City

On Friday night last week we had a great night at the mission.  There were about 45 people who we served with pizza and we offered them many blankets and warm winter clothing like scarves, hats and gloves.  Penny Pinchers sold us many of the blankets for very little as they wanted to help out.  Daybreak ladies collected a lot of toiletries and other accessories for our mission baskets.  We really want to thank them!  We had a wonderful chance to share our faith and spread God's love! A few weeks ago AITC hit the streets and spread Christ's love in the downtown streets.  Many volunteers made sandwiches and offered folks hot chocolate.  Many were given warm socks and hope bags that were filled with basic necessitates.  Thanks to the Daybreak ladies and Julia, who sewed all our hope bags!
