GOOD MORNING KAC!

Welcome to Day 12 of our devotional series, 15 Days of Hope! We look forward to journeying together through this devotional.

Watch the video below, then follow these devotional prompts:

So this morning, your prayer practice is: waiting.  This is an upstream practice for an inpatient world.  This will likely be hard for you, but I want to encourage you to lean in.

Here's what I want you to do: open your calendar for today, and plan three 10 minute blocks of time.  They could be right now, lunch, and dinner, or whenever works for you.  At the start of the 10 minutes set an alarm for 10 minutes, or however long you feel you need, then read verse 7 of psalm 130 and then simply wait.  Try to focus on Christ.  Let the scripture sit in your mind.  No pressure to do anything with it, let the stress of your day subside, let the anxieties of your future rest in Jesus . . . and wait.

If impatience is something you struggle with, this might be something you want to challenge yourself with not just for today, but for the next week.  Take a scripture verse every day, could even be the one from the morning devotional, and wait for the Lord 3 times a day.
